McAllister running for Wildrose

Former Global morning news anchor Bruce McAllister has thrown his hat in the ring as a Wildrose candidate for the Chestermere-Rockyview riding.

The Calgary Sun reports he couldn’t re-negotiate a deal with Global last month, so he left the broadcaster after working there for seven years.

An election is expected in the spring.
