Premier Redford and BC premier meet in Calgary

Premiers for the two western-most provinces hope to open more foreign offices.
British Columbia Premier Christy Clark says B.C., Alberta, and Saskatchewan already have an office in Shanghai under their new west partnership trade deal.
Clark says she wants to expand that throughout Asia, particularly to India.
She made the comments here in Calgary while meeting Premier Alison Redford.
Redford says Alberta is moving forward on all fronts to boost trade with Asia.
She said Alberta’s trade office in Hong Kong will benefit from having former cabinet minister Gary Mar head it up.
The new alcohol level of .05 in B.C. was brought up and Clark says it’s working.
“There’s been lots of complaints in our province that it hasn’t been perfect but it’s pretty tough to argue with that. If you go and talk to the families of people who have lost loved ones to drunk drivers, you find out pretty quick how much they would appreciated laws that might of cut drunk driving fatalities in half,” Clark says.
