Fido is looking for a special dog to star in a t-v commercial.
They’re holding a Calgary casting call with a professional photographer at Eau Claire Market on Saturday, October 22nd.
You can also submit a picture of your favourite pooch online here.
People can vote on the winning dog. Each vote sends a donation to The Lions Foundation for Canada Guide Dogs.
Fido’s Angie Camara tells 660News the campaign will have Fido contribute up to $200,000 to train ten new guide dogs.
“Although the dog guide is for one specific client, the ripple effect is just awesome because it doesn’t just bring happiness to that one client but it helps their family and makes them safer in the community,” says Camara.
Voting closes November 17th.
