Man struck by CTrain

A CTrain has struck a pedestrian near the Bridgeland-Memorial LRT station.

Police tell 660News just before 6:00 a.m., motorists contacted them after seeing a person wandering in traffic and then along the tracks.

The victim was hit by a westbound train and rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Traffic along eastbound Memorial is down to two lanes, and is moving very slowly.

Train service into the core is resuming, but shuttles are still in place.
