Northbound Deerfoot Trail construction completed

The drive to work for Deerfoot commuters is about to become a lot less frustrating.

Northbound Deerfoot Trail has returned to three lanes and a 100 km/h speed limit over the Calf Robe and Ogden Road bridges.

Traffic was down to two lanes and a 50 km/h speed limit since late May as crews poured new concrete overlays on both bridge decks.

The city says there may be night time lane closures and speed reductions in the area for the rest of the week to accommodate line painting and other finishing touches.
