Man sentenced in connection with old sexual assault case

A man guilty of a 1987 serious sexual assault has been sentenced to ten years in prison.
DNA evidence linked James Alexander Parent to a brutal sexual assault that involved a woman being tied up in her home then raped.
Parent will only serve six years and ten month in prison because the judge has given credit for time served.
