Early-morning fire in Dover

One person is in hospital suffering from smoke inhalation following an early-morning fire Friday.

Battalion Chief Al Magwood tells 660News, they were called to a home in Dover Court in the southeast around 3:00 a.m.

He says crews got a cat out safely, and the fire was contained to an upstairs bedroom.

Investigators have yet to pinpoint a cause of the blaze.
