Seinfeld star opposes pipeline

A former star of ‘Seinfeld’ is speaking out about TransCanada’s Keystone XL pipeline project.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played Elaine in the series, appears in a video urging U.S. President Barack Obama to reject the pipeline that she says would carry “a dirty kind of oil called tar sands.”
“So who can stop this mega-stupid, mega-pipeline? You can, President Obama,” says Louis-Dreyfus.
The video shows images of protesters, the oilsands and a map showing where the pipeline would run, from Alberta to Texas.
Obama has said it could be months before he mades a decision on the project.
TransCanada’s Terry Cunha tells QMI Qgency, once people are able to get the facts, they recognize the value of building this $7-billion pipeline.
