Babysitter faces murder charges in court

The babysitter charged with second-degree murder in the drowning death of a 19-month-old will be in a Cranbrook courtroom Wednesday.

Twenty-eight-year-old Tammy Marion Bouvette was charged after Iyanna Teeple was found face-down in a bathtub in May.

Police say they were called to the home and found the child unconscious.

She was flown to a Calgary hospital where she was pronounced dead three days later.
