Federal Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz makes a stop in Calgary to talk about ending the Canadian Wheat Board’s single-desk monopoly.
Last month, the Tories introduced legislation that would give western Canadian grain farmers the chance to sell their commodities in an open market.
The minister’s talk goes at the Chamber of Commerce over the lunch hour Wednesday.
