Soft Toy Campaign to help kids

You may want to pick up a soft toy for the little ones and stop in for a bite to eat at Ikea to help out a new campaign for kids.

Unicef and Save the Children are teaming up with the furniture giant again this year to give children in developing countries a chance at an education.

Cicely McWilliam with Save the Children tells 660News some 69 million children worldwide are denied the right to go to school.

“That is why this campaign is so important, to give them access to better quality education and to ensure that every child has the right to succeed,” says McWilliam.

A dollar from every soft toy and kids meal sold at Ikea goes to the program.

The campaign winds up December 31st.
