Sunshine Village opening this week

Thanks to a dump of snow over the weekend, Sunshine Village is opening Thursday.

The snow pack is sitting at 69 centimetres and more snow is expected this week.

Four lifts will be running, including the Strawberry Express high-speed quad, Wawa, Jackrabbit and Wolverine, as well as the ski-out from the village to Goat’s Eye.

Reduced prices are in effect for opening day.
