Opening day at Sunshine Village

A few enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders may be inclined to call in sick Thursday as Sunshine Village officially opens with snow in the forecast.

Four lifts will be running, including the Strawberry Express high-speed quad, Wawa, Jackrabbit and Wolverine, as well as the ski-out from the village to Goat’s Eye.

Reduced prices are in effect.
