Police searching for suspects in armed robbery

Calgary police are scouring surveillance tape looking for two suspects following the armed robbery of a jewelry store in the southeast last night.

Just before 6 p.m., police say two men entered the Thanh Dung Jewelry and Gifts store in the 3200 block of 17th Ave. Southeast, and asked the owners to look at some jewelry.

One man then pulled out a handgun and the other drew a knife to threaten the husband and wife owners, making off with jewelry and cash.

The woman suffered minor injuries.
