After nearly twenty years, Calgary beer is back!
The buffalo beer bearing the Calgary name is finally being offered up in city liquor stores again.
Molson’s tells the Calgary Sun they’re selling Calgary beer on a trial basis and if it does well enough, it could be around for the Stampede Centennial next summer.
Low demand meant last call for the brew back in 1985.
Many people have been upset that the beer was still being sold in Saskatchewan despite being unavailable in its namesake city.
