A good tip for would-be smugglers: Don’t use the names of suspected terrorists!
The Calgary Sun reports, a judge has sentenced Jaswinder Khaira, of Calgary, to 14 months in jail after she was convicted of smuggling counterfeit credit card and driver’s license holograms.
U.S. customs officers in Anchorage, Alaska, intercepted three packages back in 2009.
They became suspicious because the names on all of the items were those of alleged terrorists.
