The 13th Project Homeless Connect takes place at City Hall Saturday.
The free event offers those at risk or experiencing homelessness access to support from over 45 agencies in one location.
Services include mental health, addiction and employment counselling.
Andrea Ranson with the Calgary Homeless Foundation say’s to date more than 9,000 people have attended previous events. “The long term goal is to make it easier for people to go to one place to access the things they need in order to get out of homelessness,” she says.
Hot lunches and winter comfort kits with mitts, socks and toques are also available at City Hall’s Atrium.
