A six car pile up on Macleod Tr. snarled weekend traffic in the southeast.
Around 5:30 p.m. Sunday, five cars were slowing to a stop at Glenmore Tr., when a BMW came in from behind and crashed in causing the pile-up.
Duty Inspector Paul Stacey says for other drivers, it was quite a sight.
“There was a Chrysler Seabring that went vertical. There was a car that kind of scootched underneath it and it went vertical so it was fairly spectacular to see, but thankfully nobody was injured,” said Stacey.
Stacey suspects the driver of the BMW will face charges, unless there was a malfunction with the vehicle.
