The province is asking for feedback from more than just teachers as it overhauls the Education Act.
Education Minister Thomas Lukaszuk isn’t limiting submissions to educators because he says it is important to get it right.
He says hearing from students, parents, grandparents, teachers and community leaders will help ensure new legislation reflects Albertans’ vision for their education system.
Lukaszuk is welcoming input online, including email, Twitter and Facebook.
To ensure everyone is comfortable, Lukaszuk also says he will take suggestions at public hearings as well as by letter.
