Sunshine Village mini-terrain park opens

It’s a happy day for freestyle skiers and snowboarders.
Sunshine Village opens its mini-terrain park Wednesday after a fresh dump of 20 centimetres of snow in 24 hours.
Sunshine is also expecting another 24 centimetres by Friday to add to the already 75-centimetre base.
This year, the terrain park is on an easier hill so beginners can access it, whereas previous years always saw the park on blue or black runs, according to slope supervisor Adam Towers.
