Northeast shooting not a drive-by

Calgary police are investigating what appears to be a random shooting incident in Castleridge.
Duty Insp. Paul Malco says a home owner in the 6400 block of 54th Street N.E. called them just before 9:00 p.m. Wednesday after hearing a gunshot.
He went outside and found a hole in his house.
“Upon investigating and talking to the witnesses, we believe that the shot came from a green space right next to the home,” says Insp. Malco.
Nobody was hurt, and police don’t believe the house was targeted.
Investigators are looking for two vehicles that were seen in the area at the time that made them think initially the shooting was a drive-by.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
