Zoolights starts Friday

There are more than lions, tigers, and bears at the Calgary Zoo once again this Christmas.

The 14th annual Zoolights kicks off Friday.

The event, sponsored by Rogers, the parent company of 660News and Citytv, features over 1.5-million lights throughout the zoo grounds.

It also includes ice carving demonstrations, and choir performances on Friday and Saturday nights, and kids can talk to Saint Nicholas at the North Pole through Santa Vision.

Zoolights runs every evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. until January 7.
