Jackson doc gets maximum

Los Angeles Judge Michael Pastor has sentenced Dr. Conrad Murray to the maximum of four years is prison.
Murray chose not to speak prior to his sentencing.
A lawyer and friend of the Jackson family, Brian Panish, read a statement on behalf of the Jackson family, many of whom were in attendance including Jackson’s mother Katherine and siblings LaToya, Jermaine, and Randy.
Jackson’s children were not at the courthouse.
Despite the sentence, Murray may never step foot in prison because of overcrowded conditions at California prisons. A new policy keeps non-violent offenders in jail rather than prison.
