Calgary housing sales trending up

November was a good month for home sales.
The Calgary Real Estate Board reports house sale last month were up 8 per cent compared to the same period a year ago.
Year to date activity is up about 10 per cent over 2010 but a whopping 17 per cent below the 10 year average.
The president of CREB says with job creation numbers on the rise, consumer optimism is improving and that should translate into stronger sales in 2012.
The average price of a single family home in Calgary is now running at just over $467-thousand dollars.
