Cold Winter on the way

If Wednesday’s dump of snow is any proof, winter is coming with a vengeance.
660 News Meteorologist David Spence says it’s likely going to be a chilly few months ahead.
“It’ll be a cold winter, but not all that snowy. Perhaps not even as snowy as it was last year.” says Spence. “All of Western Canada will see temperatures below average as we head into the winter months; precipitation wise, it looks like we’ll have average amounts of snow fall in the coming three month period.”
Spence’s prediction is based on the long term Environment Canada forecast released Thursday for December, January and February.
