Christmas for the cats

The Meow Foundation is holding its 12th annual Christmas gathering at the Triwood Community Hall — but the cats are staying warm and cozy at the shelter.
This party is for the humans that help them.
Karen Taylor-Binnie tells 660News it’s a fundraiser and a way to celebrate.
“We’ve been able to adopt out a lot of cats and rescue many more. It’s also to thank our volunteers, we’ve got 200 amazing volunteers and over 50 foster homes,” says Taylor-Binnie.
The party is open to the public and, if you’re putting something under the tree for Fluffy, they’ve got all sorts of gift ideas.
