Mould and other health conditions have forced almost 100 residents from a north Calgary housing complex to close.
Alberta Health Services has served a notice to tenants in the community of Huntington Hills they must be out of their apartments as of December 15th.
Those units are home to more than 90 people and many are low-income or new Canadians.
One resident tells The Calgary Herald she wished her landlord had said something.
The owner was ordered to fix health issues in the complex almost two years ago.
