A man standing trial for second degree murder after he allegedly ran his truck through a crowd outside an Olds bar says he “Ain’t no murderer.”
Jeffrey Lienen is accused of running over and killing Olds College student Nicholas Baier outside the Texas Mickey Bar on October 29th, 2010.
In a taped police interview played for court, Lienen says he had been drinking heavily before being physically removed from the bar.
The Calgary Sun reports, he said he just got in his truck and “nutted it,” possibly hitting someone in the process.
