Junior selection camp for Team Canada opens Saturday

It’s a big weekend for some of Canada’s best young hockey players.

Selection camp opens Saturday in Calgary for Canada’s World Junior hockey team.

The tournament being played in Edmonton and Calgary this year kicks-off on Boxing Day.

Forty-one players have been invited to camp with only 22 roster spots up for grabs.

Canada settled for silver at last year’s tournament after blowing a three-goal, third-period lead to Team Russia.
