Donation made to AHS grief support program

More people mourning the death of a loved one will be able to get support in Calgary.
It’s thanks to a $500,000 donation to the AHS’ grief support program.
The new space, in the Richmond Road Diagnostic Treatment Centre, will hold more offices for counsellors, additional meeting rooms, and a library.
The money was raised by two Calgary couples.
Bob and Julie Hamilton lost their son in a workplace accident, when he was 19.
And Michael and Linda Shaw’s 15 year-old son was killed in an avalanche while on a school trip.
Both couples relied on the program for support.
