New rules for Canadian citizenship

If you want to become a Canadian, you’ll have to show your face.
The Calgary Sun reports that’s part of the new rules for citizenship as the Judge needs veils and face covers removed during a public ceremony when you promise to faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfill your duties as a Canadian citizen.
If the applicant refuses, they will be asked to leave, giving up their right to vote, run for office, or any of the other privileges that Canadian citizenship offers.
Their status would remain as it was prior to applying for citizenship for permanent residence in Canada.
