Alberta gets mediocre grade in CFIB report

Provincial workers’ compensation boards across the country are doing a poor job overall in meeting the needs of small businesses.
According to a report from The Canadian Federation of Independent Business, none rate higher than seven out of 10.
Alberta’s Workers’ Compensation Board gets a mediocre 5.7, landing fifth out of the ten boards.
PEI fared the best with an overall score of 6.9, while the boards representing the largest share of employers in the country – Ontario and Quebec – came in at the bottom of the pack, both garnering a rating of four.
