Banff building more urn-storage to keep up with demand

Banff has always been a popular destination for tourists, but it seems some of them never want to leave.

So many people are trying to send their cremated remains to Banff, the town is building a $100,000 urn-storage facility to meet demand.

Banff’s operations manager tells The National Post it’s a chance for those who don’t qualify to be buried in the national park to be interred there.

You have to have lived in Banff for 25 years or have been a resident at the time of death in order to be buried there, and he says this facility gets around those rules.
