Redford ahead in the polls

Encouraging new numbers are out for rookie Premier Alison Redford.
A Forum Research poll done for The National Post indicates her Tories have a strong lead heading in to the spring vote, despite solid support for rival Danielle Smith’s Wildrose Party.
Thirty-eight per cent of respondents support the PCs, while 23 per cent support the Wildrose.
The poll also exposes a dramatic gender gap.
Tory support is especially strong among women, with 42 per cent, compared with 33 per cent among men; Wildrose support is much stronger among men, with 28 per cent, compared with 18 per cent among women.
