Santa’s busy at the mall, too

Postal workers and retailers may be busy this week but they have nothing on Santa Claus.
Kids are lining up with their moms or dads to see the jolly old elf during this final countdown to Christmas and 660News popped in to Market Mall to see how he’s holding up.
Santa says nearly 300-thousand kids have sat on his lap during the past twenty years.
Amazingly, he’s only been spit-up on three times and had children wet on him twice!
He admits, his job requires a great deal of patience.
“I get as many screamers as I get smilers and you have to know that they want a picture, too, so Santa’s got to smile in those ones just as much as he does with the kids excited to see me,” says Santa.
Santa also admits that during this last week he starts looking forward to Boxing Day but, when it’s summer, he’s counting the days back to Christmas again.
