Police investigate possible shooting

Police are looking into a possible shooting in the city Tuesday night.
Duty Inspector Darren Leggatt tells 660News that a man showed up at the Children’s hospital just before 8:30 p.m. claiming to have been shot.
“A male in his mid-twenties was taken to the Alberta Children’s hospital by a friend. He was claiming he had been shot. He was transferred to the Foothills hospital for examination. As it turns out he he sustained a very minor injury and was released,” he says.
He is being held in police custody and detectives are working with him to try and learn more about the alleged incident.
