Changes coming to city hall

Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi is hoping the departure of some senior officials at city hall will help shape his vision for the future.
With the heads of city transit and Calgary’s planning department retiring, the Herald reports Nenshi is looking for replacements to share his change objectives.
Some of the mayor’s major goals for 2012 include amassing powers from the provincial government, remaking the planning department and developing a long-term plan for transit.
