Man wanted for murder turns himself in

The man believed to be responsible for Calgary’s 11th homicide of the year has been arrested.

A second degree murder warrant was issued for Lloyd Douglas Bramley earlier this week for the death of his roommate, 38-year-old, Genaro Ccopa-Huaman last Sunday afternoon.

The 27-year-old turned himself in Friday morning.  He was at the Chinook Mall when he called police to come and get him.

Duty Inspector Paul Stacey says he isn’t sure why Bramely chose a public place to turn himself in.

He was alone when he was arrested and is being questioned by homicide investigators.
