The key to getting a cab during this busy time of year is knowing when to call.
A spokesperson with Checkered Cabs tells 660News to ensure your cab arrives as quickly as possible avoid calling during the peak hours, that being between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m..
“A lot of the corporate companies have Christmas parties this time of year and they provide free transportation to and from their parties for people so that they don’t drink and drive, so what happens is, half the city will call in one night who want taxi’s in a two hour time period.”
The company says it has plenty of cabs to go around and although it may take a little longer once a cab is freed up a driver will be there to provide a responsible drive home.
