Crews were called to reports of a fire at a mobile home park on 16th Avenue northeast shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Brian McAsey with the fire department tells 660News when crews arrived the mobile home was fully engulfed.
“They went into rescue mode right away, we had belief that there was someone inside and in fact, we were able to rescue an adult female who was still inside the building and not able to help herself,” he said. “After they rescued of her, of course, we knocked down the fire very quickly.”
The woman had to be treated for smoke inhalation and burns.
The cause of the blaze is not known and there is no estimate of damage, however the mobile home did sustain serious damage.
