Calgary home resales see increase

Single family home sales increased in Calgary in November compared to the same time last year.

According to the Herald, 1,656 home sales last month was an improvement of 16 per cent, up from 1,427 in November of 2011.

That figure puts single family home sales in our city above the national average.

The Canadian Real Estate Association believes it reflects a positive long term outlook for our city by consumers.

Their figures show resale housing sales have been on an upward swing in Calgary for the past 11 months.
