How are Calgarians planning on spending NYE?

It’s hard to believe Saturday is the last day of 2011.
There is a big party at Olympic Plaza Saturday night to welcome in 2012, Citytv is broadcasting a live show with guest George Canyon.
Quite a few will be ringing in the new year in their home, surrounded by family, friends and food.
One man tells 660News he will, “Blow all the fireworks then just go home and wait for midnight,” while this woman says, “Watching the countdown on television.”
Others have family traditions: “Well, New Years Eve, just spending it with family. On New Years Day we have a tradition where I cook Chinese food.”
Many will also be heading out to the Calgary Zoo for Zoolights.
