Another death in Hobbema

RCMP are investigating a homicide on an Alberta First Nation reserve.

Mounties were called to a home on the reserve Saturday night, where a 34-year-old man was found with stab wounds on the Samson Cree First Nation in Hobbema and later died in hospital.

A 30-year-old woman has been taken into custody and police say charges are pending.

The major crimes unit is investigating the homicide at the reserve, which is about one hundred kilometres south of Edmonton.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family and at this time, the incident is believed to be domestic-related.
