It’s back to work for employees at the Ginger Beef Corporation plant in Calgary.
Production has resumed after a possible contamination of Listeria shut things down last fall.
Ginger Beef recalled its pre-cooked Asian products in five provinces and shut down its entire Calgary production line in November to do a complete wash-down after a routine monthly inspection detected Listeria bacteria.
The line is up and running again after favourable test results by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
