Rapist pleads guilty to escape charge

A man who sexually assaulted a Calgary woman in 2008 is adding more crimes to his rap sheet.

Michael Nadolnick, who is already facing a possible dangerous offender tag related to the rape, pleaded guilty Monday to three counts related to a failed-escape attempt.

Last November, Nadolnick overpowered a guard while he was on remand escort, then car-jacked a woman before he was subdued.

The Calgary Sun reports he admits to charges of assaulting a peace officer, robbery and escape.

Nadolnick is due back in court February 1st.
