Provincial election date vague

MLA’s return to the legislature February 7th, just a few months or weeks before they will go to voters.
Premier Alison Redford, speaking to reporters from Toronto, wouldn’t be specific about when Albertans will go to the polls.
“I have been very clear on this from the beginning. I have said that we would have a throne speech, we would bring the budget forward, we would have a spring session of the legislature and then we would go to the polls. I have been very clear, I have never changed my position on that,” said Redford.
Legislation passed in the last session dictates that a vote must be held this year, sometime between March 1st and May 31st.
