STARS lottery includes million-dollar home

The 2012 edition of the STARS Air Ambulance Lottery officially launches Thursday with the unveiling of the grand prize, a $1.1-million dream home in Calgary’s southwest community of Crestmount.

All proceeds raised through the lottery go to STARS, which transports critically ill and injured patients by helicopter to medical facilities.

This year’s draw has 3,200 prizes up for grabs with a retail value of over $5.2-million.
