Regardless of how you travel, when or how often, the City of Calgary would like your participation in their travel activity survey.
The random, voluntary audit continues until May and is conducted every 10 years in the city and surrounding areas.
It’s intended to collect information from at least 9,000 households in an effort to update the City’s Regional Transportation Model.
The RTM is a computer simulation used to help guide future transportation planning and design including travel behaviours to help predict future travel needs and demands.
You’ll get the survey advisory in the mail, followed by a phone call to participate in the full survey.
It will ensure confidentiality of participants and that survey responses and all personal information given by respondents is protected by encryption and passwords adhering to privacy standards.
For more information about the survey, visit www.calgary.ca/travelsurveys or call 3-1-1.
