Calgarians looking to escape the cold

Travel agencies in our city have been doing a brisk business since this blast of arctic temperatures arrived.
Sam Patel from airlineticketcentre.ca tells 660News, an unseasonably warm winter through the holiday season means people are choosing now to get away.
He says people who put off their plans just after Christmas are now booking holidays right up until April 30th in the spring.
Patel adds there are a lot of last minute deals to be had, especially to the United States because of the strong Canadian dollar.
Some of the popular destinations according to Patel are Mexico, Florida, California, Arizona and Hawaii.
