Trial ordered in horrific baby assault

A trial has been ordered for a man accused of sexually assaulting a baby boy.

Dale Kunath is facing charges of aggravated assault and aggravated sexual assault.

According to The Calgary Sun, the alleged incident occurred in a southwest Calgary home where emergency crews found the baby in medical distress.

Kunath is ordered to appear for arraignment on March 23rd.

His defense lawyer Joan Blumer has withdrawn her counsel without explanation.
